My default DNS servers from my ISP (comcast) were 75.75.75 Jun 17, 2020 · The answer to this is that you've got IPv6 DNS and the ipv6 address you're using is that of Comcast's DNS server. IPv6 will always tack precedence over v4 so your DNS lookup goes there first. DNS won't use the servers in round robin order - have a look at the blog I wrote for how it actually works.
