Jun 26, 2020 · Cloudflare is really good at blocking bad traffic to your site. They’ve been doing this for a long time and have decades of filters/rules you can use. If you are wanting to keep your total visits down on your Kinsta hosting plan, using Cloudflare can definitely help!
Jun 23, 2020 · There is a lot of opportunity at Cloudflare and the business is doing extremely well. The executive team is humble, passionate, and dedicated to making Cloudflare a great place to be. The company went public in 2019 so they're in an in-between stage of start-up and moving into a more mature company. So far the good far outweighs the bad, although I am beginning to suspect bad neighbors could certainly negatively influence ranking. We have a few comparisons ongoing. We will know for sure in the coming months. I only wish Cloudflare would take a higher stance about which sites it is willing to get in bed with. The things I like about cloudflare is that it can keep a version of your site and then display that version in case of a server outage. That's one of the main benefits we've been considering; however for a free account it only crawls the site every 7 days, which is an issue for some of our sites.

I tried, and I tried hard to like it, and to some extent, it was good like I really liked their interface and reporting of all the visitors every day including bots and blocks. But it renders it useless when there is downtime, blocks, slow loading, fewer servers, and bad support for a paid product.
